The holidays are a time of joy, happiness, and time well spent with family and friends. That's probably the case for most people. But for those who are in recovery or struggling with drug or alcohol abuse, these can be downright scary or depressing times; unfortunately, there are those who don't embrace this time of the year because they feel alone or isolated.
Aware of this overwhelming situation that addicts and their families go through, A Center for Addiction Recovery has announced the launch of its inaugural "Holiday Drug and Alcohol Helpline". A wonderful help for those in need of addiction treatment and their families, our toll free addiction helpline will be open to the U.S. public 24/7, beginning from December 15th, 2012 to January 02, 2013. By calling , callers will receive guidance about drug and alcohol treatment programs, intervention planning, and other useful resources to compliment their recovery.

About A Center for Addiction Recovery
A Center for Addiction Recovery is a residential drug and alcohol treatment facility, located on a 12-acre retreat. Family owned and operated since 1995, our vision has remained true to its original owner- to bring comprehensive and affordable treatment to heal and nurture those struggling with substance abuse and addiction. Our campus has separate buildings for detoxification, inpatient and outpatient treatment, cafeteria and recreational areas. Our residential area houses separate quarters for both male and female clients.
Our programs offer a complete individualized approach to treat addiction and mental health disorders, with each client receiving a custom tailored recovery plan to address his or her specific treatment needs. Our medical team consists of physicians, psychiatrists, nursing professionals, licensed social workers, mental health counselors, addiction specialists and therapists who are all dedicated to the care, safety and comfort of our clients. Once admitted, each client is given a thorough medical exam, both physical and mental. Such assessment will determine the course of his or her treatment during their stay at A Center for Addiction Recovery. Those undergoing detoxification will be carefully monitored on a 24-hour basis to ensure safety and comfort throughout their treatment. A Center for Addiction Recovery also offers a family recovery program, designed to enhance the quality of our clients' relationships with their families, friends or significant other. Our family therapy sessions provide family members with a forum to learn positive communication skills and address chronic issues with the guidance of a professional mediator. In addition to our addiction treatment program and counseling therapies, we offer recreational and complementary activities on site, including: basketball, volleyball, yoga, therapeutic massages, chiropractic adjustment, personal training, and art therapy.
